Services
Onism Web Studio provides web design, web development, landing page design, website redesigns, SEO optimisation, and related digital services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees are set out in a separate proposal or agreement agreed upon by both parties.
Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information required for the project.
- Supply content, images, branding, and other materials in a timely manner.
- Review and approve deliverables within the agreed timeframe.
- Ensure you have the rights to any materials you provide to us.
Payments & Refunds
Payment terms are specified in your project proposal. A deposit is typically required before work begins. Refunds are provided at our discretion and depend on the work completed. Hosting, domain, and third-party fees are generally non-refundable.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the final website design and code are transferred to the client for their own use. We reserve the right to use generic components, frameworks, and techniques developed before or during the project. We may showcase the completed project in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed. Third‑party assets (such as fonts, plugins, stock images, or software licences) remain subject to their respective licence terms.
Website Support & Warranty
We will correct any reproducible defects in the delivered website that are reported within 14 days of launch, provided the issue arises from our work and the website has not been modified by a third party. Ongoing maintenance, updates, content changes, and support beyond this period are not included unless covered by a separate maintenance agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onism Web Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific project or service will not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for that project or service.
Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of your business information and will not disclose confidential details to third parties except as necessary to deliver the agreed services or as required by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project by providing written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable. Upon termination, any materials already paid for will be transferred to the client.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, the courts of South Africa.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
